Saw "53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" on the on screen guide, so I clicked on. WOW! Anyone who calls that Country Music has no understanding of music. They obviously don't understand the word "genre".
Yep, it makes me angry that there are really good Country artists that get no recognition, or airplay.

What we saw last night was the Academy of Junk Music Awards. It was anything but Country.

There we actually teach what Country music really is for the benefit of those that want to learn. If they want to call themselves Academy of Country Music, they should learn what Country music is.
