FALL GUY COUNTRYby Tom Lineaweaver The Fall Guy TV show had several Country artists as guest stars. The show is a gold mine for Country music. So let's get started.First, Lee Majors performed the theme song called, "The Unknown Stuntman." The song did well on the Country charts throughout the world, and even climbed to number 1 in some Countries. Here it is...In "The Silent Partner," Mickey Gilley was a guest, he did a song called, "I Smell a Lie." Counldn't get Mickey doing the song, so here's David Sommerville with the entire song...Mickey Gilley played a villain named Robert Matthews described as "one of the hottest Country singers around. Howard (Douglas Barr) never knew of him. So, Colt (Lee Majors) rattle of a few songs that Matthews did, "She's a Ten With The Lights Out," and , "She Broke My Heart, So I Broke Her Her Jaw." Couldn,t isolate Mickey singing "I Smell A Lie," but you might enjoy this anyway... Mayf Nutter played a villain named Pete Thompson. He didn't sing in the show, but, here's one of his songs...Stu Phillips did a lot of TV music including on The Fall Guy. This is is a nice song by him...You might like to see "Happy Trails" which was dedicated to Roy Rogers..Of course, who could ever forget this...There is a lot of Country music on the Fall Guy, but isolating the songs to share is not that easy with my antiquated machines. I probably couldn't do it any way.
Hope you enjoyed this feature.
