LEANN RIMESby Tom Lineaweaver LeAnn Rimes has a great voice, but is far from a Pure Country artist. The only time she sounds Country is when she sings the legendary hits of Patsy Cline, or Buck Owens, and in her duet with Eddy Arnold. Her more current music sounds nothing like Country Music. My conclusion is that LeAnn Rimes is a Pop singer that started out Country. If only she would have stayed Country, she could have been a legendary Country singer like Patsy Cline or Loretta Lynn. Unfortunately, that will never happen.
True, this is only my opinion. But, I am certain it is an opinion shared by many who know what Country music really is. She has become an MTV Nashville artist. She has joined with those that have committed murder on music row.
As always, please call your local Country stations and tell them to play the Country sound of LeAnn Rimes...THESE ARMS OF MINE (This song by is just plain pure Country)
CRAZY
I FALL TO PIECES
CATTLE CALL with Eddy Arnold
HOW DO I LIVE (Just barely Country)
CRYING TIME
BLUE
BLUE MOON OF KENTUCKY
YOUR CHEATIN' HEART
COWBOY'S SWEETHEART
THE HEART NEVER FORGETS
DON'T WORRY
LOVESICK BLUES
Hope you enjoyed the Country sound of LeAnn Rimes.
