Country music is in my blood. My Daddy sang, and my Uncles, and Aunts did too...they'd all gather around the great big dining room table. They all had their guitars and fiddles, plus other things, as the Harmonica. Cigarettes, and Alcohol, were always sitting in front of them. They'd go around the table and take request, and pick songs to sing. Always some good ole Gospel too! My Aunties would get up and do some dancing, and singing along...us kids would join in...I was little, but still can remember this at grandma's house. (Daddy's Mother)
I have some great memories...just way too young to understand a lot. As you'll notice most of the songs I have on my list are songs you can just sit and listen too, or maybe get up and two step too, but easy listening, reflecting back on these memories are fun, and good country music... Yes, some HonkyTonk and Heartaches for sure! Some good ole Gospel is among my love for music, and the Lord. I serve a awesome God! No, I have never once cheated, and did very little drinkin back in my younger days, and smoked cigarettes. Life is different now, we live, and we learn...I have much to share about my past, and so now I am writing a book. (slowly) I pray that one day it will have an impact on many, and help them today and time...as we know some things just never change in life. My Goal is too be a blessing, what I will one day leave behind is important...Thank you all for coming and listening to my songs.
